This is me...

So I'm Emily and this is my blog, I guess I should begin with a bit of back story...

I grew up in a small town in West Virginia with my Aunt Barbera and my Uncle Billy Ray up until my 12th birthday, when fate intervened.

Hold on a sec... I'm not American! Oh yeah, that's right! Shall we try that again?

I was born in Tassie, my favourite place in the world, and became the fourth child of eight to my all but sane parents. ;) (love you) We moved to Queensland when I was three and have been here ever since. I got to go back for the first time last year and it was the most fun I'd had in FOREVER!

Anyway, once up here, we moved around a bit and changed schools a few times, we even lived in an old hospital for a while, no joke. I mean, how cool is that?!? So, I pretty much grew up here and I couldn't even begin to tell you how much moving up affected my life. For better and worse, but right now I'm pretty happy with where I am... most days.

So, I'm now a bit of a stay at home Daughter (see what I did there?), babysitting the younger kids in my 'free time', which, until recently was MOST of my time. See, I got really sick when I was about 15 and have been recovering ever since. It's a slow process, but I'm getting there, and I have a great support network made up of my large family, my good friends (whom I also count as family) and of coarse my boyfriend (who I lean on probably more than I should, but he doesn't seem to mind)

Well I guess from here I'll try to remember to keep blogging... I'm horrible at remembering these things, so forgive me if they're few and far between. But I'll keep M8 Blogging in honour of Fran and Will my familial Blog starters. ;P (love you guys)
